Strategy Execution and Maintenance: Fractional DEI Leadership
Congratulations! You’ve begun your DEIB journey. You may have strategic goals and a budget, but aren’t quite sure where or how to get started.
Queries may include:
How can I integrate inclusive practices into my organizational strategy and culture?
How do I execute strategies and tactics? How do we measure success?
How do I build out programs and strategy?
Where can I use data to substantiate my work?
How do I get people comfortable talking about diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging?
Embedded DEIB support through fractional (i.e. part-time) leadership affords the ongoing expertise to help catalyze action planning, strategy execution, and organizational change. Recognizing effective and sustainable DEIB efforts take time to build, implement, and evaluate, these multi-year strategies are collaboratively developed and designed for execution over time. Longer-term engagements also ensure integration of change management strategies for sustainable efforts.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Events and Coalition Building
Want to engage your organization though large-group dialogue such as a summit, town hall, large-group facilitation, restorative discussions, or caucuses for inter-group community building? Skilled facilitators work with you and your team to identify the problems you’re trying to solve, skills you’re trying to build, and optimal conditions for best-case outcomes.
Thought Leadership and Speaking Engagements
Need a speaker to help introduce, inspire, or catalyze your DEIB efforts? Engagements include interactive keynotes, “fireside” chats with leaders, and opportunities for participant engagement via virtual and in-person delivery. Events and engagements can be paired with customized learning and development opportunities related to explored concepts and topics.

Working in tandem with your institution’s DEIB unit, designee, or committee, these services help to create and execute data-driven, climate-based efforts for faculty, staff, and administration through data insights, learning and development, and related programming.

Campus learning and development solutions can be coupled with keynotes and related speaking engagement topics, providing opportunities for participants to apply explored concepts.
Topics include:
Introduction to Inclusive Excellence
Culturally Relevant Pedagogy
Actualizing Equity and Inclusion with the 4Ps
Applying Equity-Mindedness and Inclusion to Student Success: What Can I Do?
Mitigating Bias in Teaching and Learning
Collective Accountability for Institutional Change
Project-Based Leadership Development
Traditionally, leadership development programs designed for People of Color do not afford participants an opportunity to shape curriculum or content, contribute to the co-creation of organizational culture, or determine how their experience will specifically be applied. Many programs demonstrate employees’ ability to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and abilities within an existing organizational culture that may not be intentionally inclusive – or allow for full authenticity.
Through our facilitative process, employees of color select, develop, and execute projects and efforts affecting their respective organization, while centering their experiences - and are guided through the journey of working collaboratively with their organization’s culture-affecting and talent development influencers.
